| KESYDO Coodinates GYSD 2010 Event in 8 Countries |

In January 2010, KESYDO had the privilege to be appointed by Youth Service America (YSA) as the Regional Lead Agency to coordinate 2010 Global Youth Service Day projects in the East and Southern African region. Aggressive publicity campaign which included, the use of electronic, and print media was employed to mobilize groups and individuals across the region to take part in the 2010 GSYD celebrations. More than 400 youth grops were contacted in 12 countries .The following is a breakdown of the geographical distribution of the groups contacted which carried at least a service project in their respective countries and communities.
